Kansas City Chiefs Linebackers Looking Good During OTAs But Could Look Better [VIDEO]

The Kansas City Chiefs are going to go as far as their defense can carry them. Alex Smith is a good quarterback, but the Chiefs offense isn't one that is going to outscore too many teams. So they need to stop people from scoring too much and the key to that effort is going to be the linebacker corp.

During OTAs the group has been hard at work and for the most part looking pretty good, but they could look better.

Tamba Hali and Josh Mauga were certainly putting in the work and looked good doing it.

Dee Ford showed off some nice footwork too.

Rookies DJ Alexander & Ramik Wilson were paying their dues on the sled.

Ramik Wilson footwork doesn't look half bad either.

So--how could these guys look better? They need their fearless leader, Justin Houston, to return. He has been hit with the franchise tag so at least for this season he is not going anywhere, but until he signs he is not bound to report to team activities.

Word is he wants to play elsewhere, but the price tag to get him is going to be pretty high. There hasn't been any talk about someone being willing to pay it either.
