Texas A&M Baseball Fans Use TCU Promo Code to Buy Up Tickets for Super Regional in Fort Worth

Texas A&M's baseball team has had a great season; easily one of the better that the team has ever had. However, it almost came to an end over the weekend during regional play. They lost one marathon game to Cal and beat the Bears in another to force a third game for the right to move on to the super regional round--which they won 3-1 Sunday night.

For awhile it looked like they were going to host the super regional, but TCU completed an epic 8th inning comeback against North Carolina State to win their regional and the right to host the super regional against the Aggies. However, the game may end up looking more like a home game for the Aggies than the Horned Frogs.

Tickets were supposed to go on sale Thursday morning, but were nearly out by that time. As it turns out TCU had sent an email out to its season ticket holders with a special promo code that would allow them to buy tickets starting Tuesday night. For some odd reason TCU’s AD and the TCU Frog Club decided to tweet the promo code, TCU15, Monday night.

Well--Texas A&M fans go a hold of it, blasted it all over popular forums, and A&M fans went nuts buying tickets for the game. All they had to do was create a new account and they were able to buy tickets using the code.

So don't be surprised if there is a lot more maroon in the stands and not much purple come game day.

Game One of the series will be Saturday at 2 PM, Game Two Sunday at 1:15, with Game Three on Monday if necessary.
