Vanderbilt Slaughters Radford to Earn Trip to Super Regional [VIDEO]

At this stage in the college baseball season only the best teams are still standing and fighting for the right to advance to the super regionals. In Nashville Monday afternoon Vanderbilt and Radford faced off with the chance to keep playing on the line. What resulted was the kind of spanking you would expect from a contender and a scrub.

Mercifully the game only lasted nine innings. When it was all said and done the Commodores collected 21 runs off of 20 hits and six walks and with just three home runs being hit. Rhet Wiseman had one of them in the second to give Vanderbilt a 5-0 lead.

Vanderbilt will meet Illinois in the next round.
