WATCH: San Francisco 49ers LB Michael Wilhoite Makes Beautiful Interception During OTAs
Linebacker Michael Wilhoite had a harder time getting to the NFL than a lot of guys. After going undrafted coming out of Washburn University in 2011 he was picked up by the Omaha Nighthawks of the short lived United Football League. Upon the conclusion of the season he was signed to the 49ers practice squad, resigned to the practice squad for the '12 season, but has been on the active roster since getting called up towards the end of the '12 season.
