Texas Longhorns AD Steve Patterson is not a very popular guy. He has been great for the athletic department's bottom line (which is important), but not so great otherwise. With the football team still struggling it doesn't matter how good the bottom line is to the fans--they want some W's.
So--to protest his continued existence at the university someone (or maybe a group) paid the money to have a "Patterson Must Go" banner flown over the home opener Saturday.

I am a Texas fan, but some of you aren't all that bright. Money wasted on a banner that should have gone for Dodds and Mack could have gone into my pocket instead and been used much better.
