End Of Texas-Texas Tech Thanksgiving Game Is Must See TV [VIDEO]

The Red Raiders are an exciting up and coming team. Kliff Kingsbury is one of the best young coaches in the game today, and has one of the best offenses in college football. On the other side of the field you have a team that  was once the pride of the state of Texas and among the elite in college football.

Thursday night the two combined for what was easily  the most exciting football game of the day. It was much more competitive than the Lions-Eagles or Cowboys-Panthers games, and had much more action than the Packers-Bears game.

You can see this just by watching the end of the game:

When it was all over Texas Tech quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw for almost 400 yards and DeAndre Washington had 173 yards and a pair of touchdowns on the night.

Texas didn't bother to throw the ball much, but they ran it really well. Chris Warren had an incredible night rushing the ball 25 times for 276 yards and four touchdowns. Tyrone Swoopes played well in relief of an injured Jerrod Heard rushing for 98 yards and a pair of touchdowns himself.

In the end it wasn't enough as Texas Tech won 48-45.
