Houston Cougars Overcome Loss Of Greg Ward Jr. To Beat Memphis And Remain Undefeated [VIDEO]

It did not look good for the Houston Cougars for much of the game Saturday. The Memphis defense did a good job of shutting down the mighty Houston offense; it helped when they knocked Heisman hopeful quarterback Greg Ward Jr. out of the game with an ankle injury.

Slowly, but surely back-up quarterback Kyle Postma found his groove, Kenneth Farrow started finding some space, and the defense started to handle the Memphis offense. Down by 20 early in the fourth they only had a 2.7 percent chance of winning--but 21 points later they did!
