Jeremy Langford Helping Bears Fans Forget About Matt Forte And Helping Jay Cutler Make History [VIDEO]

Matt Forte has been the workhorse for the Chicago Bears for many years, but he has been out with an injury the last couple weeks. The injury may end up being the nail in the coffin for his time in Chicago. The last couple weeks his replacement, Jeremy Langford, has played very well in his place. he had over 140 total yards last week, and he looked pretty good on this 83-yard touchdown reception.

With Forte in a contract year and Langford playing so well the team may not be interested in paying Forte what he could get somewhere else.

With this catch Langford did help Jay Cutler make Chicago Bears history. With it Cutler became the first quarterback in the long history of the Bears to have two passing touchdowns of 80+ yards, this one (83 yards) and Zach Miller's 87-yard one earlier in the game.

The ironic part of it of course being that the actual passes only went for about -2 yards while Miller and Langford did all the work.
