With the injury to Jamaal Charles and the coaching staff choosing to go with him over Knile Davis in his place he has become the breakout player of the season.
In his short time in the spotlight he has proven to be effective and that he is not like your average NFL player. How so?
Well--unlike most players he actually embraces fantasy football players, and is glad that so many people have seen fit to add him to their fantasy rosters., However, as much as he likes the fantasy love he wishes it would translate to more love on Twitter.
He would like more followers.
Typically when athletes are talking about Twitter they are complaining about all the haters and jerks that say terrible things online. You don't normally hear them asking for more attention on Twitter, but West would like just that. Before sending that tweet out into the virtual world on Wednesday he had around 5500 followers. As of Saturday afternoon he was up to 19,400.
