Texas Tech RB DeAndre Washington Runs Wild Over Texas Defense In Big Win [VIDEO]

Texas Tech had not beaten Texas in Austin in years. The last time was back during the last millennium (1997 to be exact). So if there was something the seniors wanted to do Thursday night it was bring an end to the losing streak. They wanted a win over the Longhorns in Austin--and they got it.

Senior running back DeAndre Washington could not have asked for a better way to go out than with the performance he had.

Along with Patrick Mahomes, he helped pace the offense on a night where it gained close to 700 yards. Washington chimed in a total of 187 yards (173 rushing; 14 receiving) and two touchdowns on the night.

Both came in the second half of the game.

Fans will get one more chance to see him play in a Red Raiders uniform in the team's bowl game.
