Tom Brady To Brock Osweiler: Good Game, Welcome To The NFL, Or Both?

More than likely all that Tom Brady said to Brock Osweiler was "good game," but he might as well have said "welcome to the NFL." Yes, I know, Osweiler has been in the NFL for a few years already, but he has not played much. He only go the start the last week and this week because Peyton Manning is injured.

However, after the way he led the team back from a 14-point deficit to take the lead against the Patriots before winning the game in overtime, chances are he is here to stay.

If that ends up being the case this win will be the moment that Gary Kubiak references when he says he is sticking with Osweiler and not putting Peyton Manning in when he is healthy enough to play.

The Peyton Manning lovers will point to the running game C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman provided Osweiler, and say that Manning would have been able to win the game as well with that rushing attack.

Maybe Peyton could, but could he make the throws that would have been needed? The old Peyton would have been able to, but this year's version? Probably not.

So in a way this game was Brock Osweiler's welcome to the NFL because he is not going anywhere anytime soon.
