It is not unusual for a defensive player to play a little on offense. It doesn't happen often, but it does. However, it is usually a defensive back coming in to run a few routes or maybe a linebacker to act as a fullback. You don't see too many defensive lineman lining up in the backfield (not in the NFL at least).
Yet that is exactly what the Kansas City Chiefs did Sunday against the Chargers. They had 346 pound defensive lineman Dontari Poe line up in the backfield--and they actually gave him the ball!
Someone that big is hard to stop; the Chargers couldn't so Poe scored and Poe got to dance.
