WATCH: Notre Dame LB Jaylon Smith Jumps Offensive Line To Make Tackle

Normally when we talk about guys leaping over the offensive line it is in an attempt to block a field goal attempt, and next to never works. That was not the case when Notre Dame linebacker Jaylon Smith did it Saturday against Stanford. He wasn't trying to block a field goal, but was trying to stop Stanford from getting a first down.

He wasn't successful at stopping Stanford from getting a first, but he did make the leap and the tackle:
