WATCH: Texas Tech Pulls Off Crazy Trick Play To Extend Lead Over Texas

If the Texas Longhorns were going to beat Texas Tech and remain alive for a bowl game they were going to have to do two things: run the ball like crazy (not hard against the Red Raiders) and somehow slow Patrick Mahomes and company down.

They succeeded in running wild over the Texas Tech defense, but the Texas Tech offense did the same to them. They had to get a little creative sometimes, but it worked:

The play gave the Red Raiders a 48-38 lead at the time. They went on to win 48-45.
