WATCH: UConn Seals Win Over Houston Cougars With Game-Ending Interception Off Greg Ward

It's an old cliche, but it is a true cliche--any team can win on any given day. If  a good team like Houston doesn't play well, and their opponent plays its best game of the season they are going to lose--and they did. UConn shut down the Houston running game allowing just 110 yards on 33 carries, and forced four turnovers on the day.

The fourth came late in the fourth after Kyle Postma had been knocked out of the game and Greg Ward had to come back in. Had he completed the pass to his guy the team would have been in field goal range, but it was intercepted.

With the loss Houston falls from the ranks of the undefeated, and will have a tough on their hands the next time they take the field in Navy. With the win UConn becomes bowl eligible.
