J.J. Watt: Rex Ryan Told Me He Was Going To Leak A Fake Medical Report Before The Draft Saying I Had Some Disease

It is safe to say  that the teams that passed on J.J. Watt in the 2011 Draft probably wish they had picked him up or traded back into the first round so they could grab him. Rex Ryan wanted him back when he was with the Jets, but knew he would not be available when it was the Jets turn to pick (No. 30).

So he told Watt that he had a plan that would knock Watt's draft status down a few pegs. He was going to leak a report claiming Watt had some kind of disease.

via Reddit
Watt shared the story with the media during a conference call with the media Wednesday:
"I sat down there and he kind of real casually -- the whole thing was real casual -- and he just said, 'Hey, man, you're gonna be gone by the time we get to pick, so here's what we're gonna do: We're gonna put out a fake medical report that you have some sort of disease. I don't know what it is, whatever, we'll make it up. And you're gonna drop, but we'll pay you like you're up there [in the first round]," Watt said of Ryan's plan, via ESPN.com.
It didn't happen of course so we can only assume that Ryan was kidding....because he wouldn't do something like that....or would he?
