Some Of The Stadium Security At Houston-Temple Game Took Their Job Seriously [VIDEO]

Saturday was a big day for the University of Houston. For the first time in many years the team was a conference champion and will be playing on New Year's Day in one of the big bowl games. When the game was finally won it was a moment to be celebrated, and many wanted to in the typical college kid fashion--by storming the field.

Videos have been making the rounds online of some of the stadium security doing whatever they could to stop them--even if it meant beating a kid down and then just letting him go.

I can only guess that the American Athletic Conference might have a rule against field storming so security might have been told to prevent it or maybe they were told to stop it because fans have been injured in the past while storming the field--but only a handful of them took it seriously.

One guy took it a little too seriously, but I also want to point out the nice kid in the background that helped an older gentleman up:

S0--did their efforts to keep the kids off he field work? Nope.
