Kyle Lowry is not known for making blocks. Over the course of his career he has made 148 over his 10+ seasons. He has never averaged more than .5 a game, which happens to be his current average. While they may not be a common part of his game that does not mean he can't do it. He just might need the right circumstances to present themselves.
When they do--like they did Thursday night against Denver--he will slap the **** out of the ball even if you are almost a foot taller than him (like Nikola Jokic who is 6'11"):
