That is, until he played the struggling Philadelphia Eagles.
He only has one 100+ yard game on the season, and he didn't have one on Thanksgiving, but he made his fantasy owners happy another way. The man scored three touchdowns. It was his first multi-touchdown day of the season, first time getting in the end zone in a month (last time was 10/25 against the Vikings), and doubled his season total.
With fantasy playoffs starting soon his fantasy owners will be hoping he can have a few more days like that starting with the Packers. So--will he?
The last time the two teams met the Lions offense had just started undergoing a change. While Johnson did not score he did contribute with six catches (nine targets) and 81 yards. It's not a great fantasy day, but it doesn't suck.
The Lions offense has been improving every week while the Packers have been slipping. Including the last time the two met, Green Bay has lost four of its last five, and has struggled mightily on offense. Should they do so again the Lions will get plenty of opportunities to get their offense on track.
So--what kind of night can fans and fantasy owners expect? Another three touchdown night is unlikely, but it would not be shocking to see him get his second 100+ yard night of the season.
