The Texas A&M Aggies gave their fans something to cheer about when they exploded in the second half of the Cotton Bowl Friday night en route to a blowout win over the Oklahoma Sooners. Thanks to the exploits of Johnny Manziel, Ben Malena, Ryan Swope, Mike Evans, and so many more the game was pretty entertaining.
Whenever you have major events like this there bound to be some gaffes along the way; things that help make the time in between plays or waiting for the game to start pretty entertaining as well. Broadcasters will try to cover for the faux pas, but sometimes that is easier said than done.
Then there are those times where the broadcast will actually encourage the behaviour, just adding to the hilarity of the situatiuon. Like in this local clip from before the game:
More often than not it is an accident. What the networks and those involved need to realize is that we don't care. More often than not it is pretty funny. Just don't take it personal when people smirk and laugh when they see you walk by; eventually it will stop.
Like when the ref busted his behind during the game:
Is it just me or did they fail to broadcast the opening kickoff last night? When they broke from commercial prior to kickoff you could see the guys lined up, but then after the on-field reporter asked Kevin Sumlin a couple questions the Aggies offense came on the field.
No, I wasn't drinking.
Okay, so the last one wasn't really funny "ha ha" but more of a funny "what the--?"
