The
empty seats led one ESPN analyst, Colin Cowherd, to suggest that there is a
racial element to the lack of attendance; that fans are unwilling to forget the
poor behavior exhibited by several players in recent years.
Coincidentally, the off-court issues seemed to start after the
infamous Brawl in the Palace in Detroit when Ron Artest went into the stands
after being hit with debris prior to entering a game. The team has worked hard
to clean up that image and appears to have succeeded at least in regard to
off-court issues...(for full post including video follow link to American Live Wire)
