Floyd Mayweather Jr. is ready to fight again for the first time since his short stint in jail last summer. Come May 4, 2013, he will climb back into the ring against the No. 3 ranked Welterweight in the world, Robert Guerro.
The fight will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, a
location that is no stranger to hosting professional boxing matches including
Mayweather’s last six. What will be different is who will be broadcasting the
pay-per-view fight.
On Tuesday it was announced that Mayweather was breaking
away from HBO with whom he has had a relationship for most of his professional
career and signing with Showtime/CBS Broadcasting. The eight-time undefeated
