Deron Wiliams Sets NBA Record While Making it Rain on the Wizards

Deron Williams was almost all the Brooklyn Nets needed against the lowly Washington Wizards Friday night. His nine 3-pointers in the first half are a new NBA record, but that wasn't the best part of his night. In that fist half he scored 33 points; the Wizards also scored 33 points.

It was the first time in over a decade where a single player matched the production of the opposing team.

Williams ended up having 11 three-pointers on the night; one short of tying the record. At one time he even hit five in about a five minute stretch. By time his night was over he had 42-points and had led the team to a 95-78 win.
