When Alex Kim went to work for the Arizona Diamondbacks Friday the last thought he probably had was," Gee--I hope my windshield doesn't get busted by a monster home run hit in batting practice or nothing."
You would think that teams would be wary of things like this and would not have the parking lot anywhere near the danger zone, but sometimes there is no accounting for how hard someone is going to crush a ball.
The team clearly did not account for the power that Giancarlo Stanton could bring. The former Florida Marlin crushed one so hard in batting practice that it did not stop until it found a home in Alex Kim's windshield!
Stanton, being the pro that he is even signed the windshield for Kim. Why you would want to keep some busted glass lying around is beyond me...but, hey--different strokes, right? Although i would hope that Giancarlo would do something else as well. at least a glove or hat or something.
