Kobe Bryant Passes Wilt Chamberlain on All-Time Scorers List

Kobe Bryant has a habit of scoring a few points hear and there in case you haven't noticed. After doing it for 17 seasons the man has scored quite a few points, and on Saturday against the lowly Sacramento Kings he scored enough to move past Wilt Chamberlain for fourth on the all-time career scoring list in the NBA.

It really doesn't come as a surprise. He would have had to really screw up Saturday night in order not to move past Wilt--he only needed five points. In the end he got 19 points (he had a bad night from the floor shooting 5-18) to bring his total to 31,434 points.

He will not have a chance to catch Michael Jordan this season, but should he play next season he should be able to catch Jordan by the All-Star break at the latest. With 5000+ points to go to catch No.2 on the list it looks like No. 3 will be as high as Kobe can aspire to on the all-time scoring list.
