Notre Dame Quarterback Gunner Kiel to Transfer

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish Fighting Irish scored a pretty big coup when they got local quarterback Gunner Kiel away from Indiana and LSU. Now they've lost him.

Kiel has stated that he will be transferring from Notre Dame, but has yet to say what school he will be going to.




As a four star recruit last year he was easily the prize of the recruiting class, but the emergence of Everett Golson has made it unlikely that he will get much playing time if any until late n his career.

Rather than sit on the bench and be ready if Golson gets hurt he has decided he wants a chance to play now hence the transfer. Can you fault him? I think not.
