It did not come as too much of a surprise when the New England Patriots did not resign wide receiver Wes Welker. What did come as a surprise is who they replaced him with—St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola.
For some time it has been pretty clear that the relationship between Welker and thePatriots had gone bad. Word is they offered him a two-year, $10 million deal. Amendola on the other hand was offered a five-year deal worth $31 million....(for full post follow above link to PlayerPress.com!)
