Randy Moss is Looking for a Job

It appears that the Randy Moss Era in San Francisco is coming to an end when free agency starts in a a little more than a week. On Saturday the self-proclaimed best wide receiver to ever play the game tweeted a good-bye and good luck message:

This is interesting coming on the heels of head coach Jim Harbaugh saying that he wanted Moss back, but i head coaches always got what they wanted then Megatron, Adrian Peterson, and J.J. Watt would all be cloned 31 times so every team could have one.

Moss did surprise the football world when he decided to come back this past season after retiring the year before. While he did appear to take the work seriously (unlike other aging wide receivers--right TO?)

However, he never really seemed to become much of a factor in the 49ers offensive game plan. Over the course of the regular season he only had two starts and caught just 28 balls for 434 yards and three touchdowns.

That's not to say that Moss did not have a highlight or two in his lone season in San Francisco...

What lies next for Moss remains to be seen. He didn't exactly shine and give teams reason to believe he could contribute much; at least much for the price they will have to pay to get him.
