Serge Ibaka Hits the Right Ball This Time

After watching this play I got to wondering something. Does anyone else think that maybe the NBA did not give Serge Ibaka a one game suspension for his chop to Blake Griffin's little buddies because they wanted the Oklahoma City Thunder at full strength when they played the Los Angeles Lakers Tuesday night?

At least one person has already  questioned the lack of a suspension for Ibaka (who just received a fine)--Miami Heat star LeBron James.
He's taking about when Dwayne Wade gave Ramon Sessions a swift kick to the little Bobcats and was suspended for a game as well as hit with a $150, 000 fine.

Oh- and 'groin altercation.' Awesome.

It would be a shame to think that the NBA would stoop to such a level just to make sure that a nationally broadcast game was not missing anyone.

Then again, the league did throw a fit when San Antonio Spurs head coach Greg Popovich sent four of his players home for a break instead of playing them against the Miami Heat in a nationally broadcast game...
