Tiger Woods Does What it Takes at the Honda Classic

Tiger Woods is still Tiger Woods even though sometimes he is just--Tiger Woods.

He may not always look like the best golfer in the world, but there are times when the guy that sat on top of the world of golf for years comes back and shows the greatness that made Eldrick Tont a household name at one time.

Thursday at the Honda Classic the old Tiger reappeared for at least one hole as Eldrick Tont could do no wrong.

From inside the water hazard! So much that he had to take his shoes off and pull on the rain pants! You can see the water flying up as he hits the ball!

Most golfers would have been satisfied with taking the penalty and moving on, but Tiger knew he could get it  down and he did. A nice shot out of the water, another down the fairway, and a good putt to finish and he pared a hole he had no business parring.

Then again, there is a reason why he was the best in the world for as long as he was. However, nowadays erratic seems to be the name of the game for Tiger. While he did have two birdies on the first day he also had a couple bogeys. Day two was more of the same; four birdies, two bogies, and a double bogey.

As frustrating as that must be for him it actually makes watching golf (or at least the highlights) a lot more entertaining. Rather than just see how Tiger dominates once again (like the old days) you never know what we are going to get from him.
