UFC Champ George St. Pierre Next Big Action Star?

George St. Pierre has had a tough time finding worthy opponents in the Octagon of late. The Diaz fight was supposed to be a barn burner, but injured and a little sick GSP was still able to own Diaz throughout the whole fight. So what's a fight champ to do when the competition can't measure up?

You take on a superhero like Captain America. Literally.

GSP is going to play Batroc the Leaper in the next installment of the popular superhero franchise titled Captain America: Winter Soldier. Batroc is a French mercenary and a master of savate, a style of kickboxing (no type casting here).

It will be interesting to see how much screen time he will actually get. It would not be shocking either to find out that the studio gives him a look for future butt-kicking roles. Throw in a fighter with his credentials and popularity with the right script and someone could have a huge hit in the making.

Action films are something that always have an audience after all! I'm just saying...
