Carmelo Anthony Might Keep LeBron James From Being the First Unanimous MVP

Carmelo Anthony did it again last night by dropping 34 on the Boston Celtics to lead his team to a 87-71 victory Tuesday night. His performance is just further proof that LeBron James is not the only stud in this league and may not run away with the MVP this year as expected.

I know that voters are only supposed to look at the regular season when deciding their vote, and that last night's performance should not have an impact, but 'Melo went on one heck of a streak at the end of the season to become the scoring champ (which also means he had to be doing pretty good all season).

I'm not crazy enough to think he could actually win over LeBron, but the man could get a few votes.
