Yes, Mavericks Nation, it is time to shave!
It has been a long time coming, and after three attempts in recent weeks that saw the team lose by double digits they finally won that pivotal game that brought their record back to .500 for the first time since early December.

This time it was the Mavs winning by double digits, 107-89, over the New Orleans Hornets. Shawn Marion led the way with 21 points and Dirk Nowitzki tacked on an additional 19. After dropping 22 against Denver Friday night Dirk's 19 put him over the 25,000 career-points mark.
To stay at or above .500 they will have to win at least one of their final two games-- both at home; on Monday against Memphis and the on Wednesday against New Orleans.
The last time the Mavericks did not go to the playoffs was also the last time they finished below .500 (40-42, in the 1999-00 season; the last in a decade of consecutive losing seasons).
