Houston Texans to Put the 'Jumbo' in Jumbo-tron

Everything is bigger in Texas, right Jerry Jones? That was true a few years back when the Dallas Cowboys opened their new stadium with what was then the largest in-stadium video screen in the world. The record has since been overtaken by a couple different places (one of the racetracks holds it now I think).

The record will soon be back in Texas; more precisely it will belong to the Houston Texans.

It's so we can see the fear in the eyes of QBs when they see this guy coming!!!

The Houston Texans will soon have the largest video boards in the world installed at Reliant Stadium. They will be 53 feet tall and 277 feet wide (yeah, I'd say they qualify as fat). Top put the enormity of them into perspective for you--they are wider than the wing span of a 747 jet (that's big!).

Oh--and for those that are curious; the ones that Jerry Jones installed up in Arlington are about 30 percent smaller (72 feet by 160 feet; slackers).

The screens are expected to be up and running for the team first preseason game in August.
