Katherine Webb Quits Reality Show

What is the world coming to when people that are barely still considered celebrities (if they ever were in the first place) trend for two days on Yahoo because they quit a reality show?

Then again she is hot and the only reason to watch the show so I guess I understand.

Due to a back injury, Katherine Webb (who is only a celebrity because of Brent Musburger 'complimenting'her during a boring BCS title game her boyfriend won) had to pull out of the worst reality show to hit the airwaves since Fox made a sequel of Joe Millionaire because of back issues.

"I've had the worst time training this week because even the most simplest dives shot pain all the way from the middle of my back down my leg," she said on the show. "I went to the doctor and unfortunately he told me I'm out for the competition"

Back injuries are no joke. There is nothing more debilitating than one of those suckers. I feel your pain Katherine.

As for the show-- I still don't get it people. Yeah, I know in theory they are going to be doing some crazy stuff; whatever Olympic great Greg Louganis can teach them (who is awesome; I can remember watching when he nailed his head on the board during a dive).

But then Louie Artmstrong gets applauded for essentially falling in the water.

And its the bravest thing he's ever done?

Come on!

Now I appreciate what Louie is going through being a man of larger than average girth myself, but falling in the water is not brave nor should it be on television.

As for the rest of them--they do what they can. If they have any diving chops they use them; if they don't, they don't. That's cool, but it still sucks as television.

Maybe I'm just being a bitter fat man today and hating on something without giving it a good chance. If you like the show, all the power to you. Your opinion is just as valid as mine. Thanks to this country being awesom we are both allowed to have them.
