Rumor has it that there is still professional boxing matches taking place somewhere, but it seems like the better fights are on the ice these days.
Take this scuffle from Saturday night's Columbus Blue Jackets/Minnesota Wild game. Columbus's Jared Boll controls this one pretty much from the start and puts a good hurting on Minnesota's Clayton Stoner.
I hear there is an unwritten rule that once a guy goes down you don't keep throwing hay-makers (really?), but Boll opts to establish some dominance over Stoner instead.
Maybe it was more of a desire to prove that the last time these two fought was the exception and not the rule (from back on January 29th; it was a draw).
