Soccer Fans in Dallas Channel Their European Counterparts

On any given weekend you can find a story about soccer fans acting like crazy fools, punching horses, holding the field hostage, taking jerseys from crappy players who are 'not worthy,' and just general rioting when they aren't feeling creative.

This time, well--this past weekend it was more of the same overseas, but this time there was a little craziness here in the United States too.

Shortly after he scored the winning goal against the LA Galaxy, FC Dallas defender George John was nailed with a beer bottle.
“I knew something hit me,” John said. “I wasn’t quite sure what happened, if I ran into the post or what, but then I looked down and saw a beer bottle and I was like that had to of hit me. I felt [my head] and there was a ridge and then I was like ‘Yes, something hit me for sure.’ Luckily I didn’t need stitches and I was able to stay in and finish out the game.”
The good thing is since it was an isolated incident and not a stadium full of people going nuts it wasn't that hard to identify the culprit and arrest him (the guy that punched the horse got what he deserved too).
