Jeff Gordon's New York Pad For Sale--for a Mere $30 Million

Lately we have seen some incredible houses go up for sale or be bought by some of today's biggest stars in sports. There was Ray Lewis's vacation house. Nick Saban's lake house is supposed to fetch about $11 million. Matt Forte got one heck of a deal on his Chicago home.

But none of them hold a candle to NASCAR superstar Jeff Gordon's New York condo overlooking Central Park. Price tag you ask--$30 million.

What would you pay for this view?
It's just a three bedroom, but from the pics it appears to be a pretty spacious three-bedroom, but from what I read in the New York Times and USAToday you don't buy this place for the space. You buy it for the view and because you can.

It's a live-in trophy for say.

If you got the change to throw down on this place you'll be able to borrow sugar from the likes of Bob Costas among many others. Heck, for $30 million Bob better be coming over and talking football every  Monday night.

Should be sell--and Jeff is expecting it to sell (the demand for trophy apartments is part of the reason he's selling)--Gordon will make a pretty penny. He bought the condo for just under $10 million back in 2007.

No word on whether financing is available.

(In case you are wondering what it looks like...)

So where's the TV?
Brazilian Cherry Wood Floors
Bigger than my college apartment. Smells better too.
For $30.1 million he'll have the baby in the pic autograph it.
