Of course whenever a celebrity speaks out on Twitter the trolls come out and the hate flows for no apparent reason.
You know you miss this Tony! |
Her tweet was simple enough.
Go Spurs Go! I say Spurs in 5!!!!

Some of the responses--well, they were pretty simple too. You know, because it doesn't take much to call some names and say mean things.
"THE SPURS ARE TRASH U UGLY [Word that rhymes with itch]"This one, ironically enough came from someone who claimed to be against bullies (@STOPBULLYING)
"ugly [same word as above]"While Twitter and other social media outlets do give people the chance to troll others and express their inner jerk, it also gives the object of that hate the chance to see how loved they are when total strangers come to their defense.
Like this one in reference to one of the above tweets:
"wow your header says treat people the way you want to be treated. Very hypocritical don't you think?"It's actually kind of difficult to go through and pick out some of the responses that I'd be willing to post, but this one pretty much sums up a lot of the haters.
@evalongoria heat fans keeping it classy as usual I see. I can't believe the responses your tweet garnered. Twitter bullies new to grow up

A lot of people seemed to focus on Tony Parker cheating on her and were shocked she could back the Spurs. They must not realize she is from Texas (Corpus Christi), could very well be a longtime fan, and probably became friends with a lot of the other guys on the team.
