Robert Griffin III Says He Hasn't Heard From Donovan McNabb; Not Interested Anyway

Over the weekend one of the more popular stories on the web involved former NFL Donovan McNabb who insisted that RG3 was doing 'too much' and should just be concentrating on football. He claimed that he even reached out to Griffin and his family in order to have a sit down with the young quarterback so he could spread his wisdom.

Sounded like it could be true, right? Well, as it turns out--it wasn't.

Man, I just want to be relevant again...I've got so much to give!
NFL.com's Albert Greer sent this tweet after speaking with RG3:

Hmmm...that's interesting. Do you have anything to say about that Donovan? Wish you were still playing? Want to see your name in the media once again? Did you fail to think that someone might talk to RG3 and figure out you lied?

When asked about McNabb's comments Griffin didn't seem too interested in talking with McNabb.
"I heard what he said," Griffin told CSNWashington.com on Thursday. "It is what it is. Everybody is going to have their own opinion. He’s free to have that opinion. So I’ll just leave it at that."
hat's alright man. It must be tough adjusting to life after the NFL especially when it wasn't on your own terms. Hey--I bet you might feel better after some Chunky soup!
