Two years ago the Ole Miss Rebels were not that good. With just two wins that's kind of hard to argue with. Last year the team improved by leaps and bounds in Head Coach Hugh Freeze's first year notching seven wins including a win over Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl.
Tack on a solid recruiting class to a core that returns nine starters on offense and 11 on defense (that adds 5-star Robert Nkemdiche) and the competition in the SEC just got a lot tougher! But just in case you need a little help getting excited for the season Ole Miss has been kind enough to make this little video for you:
Commercial clips like that are great, but what really gets me pumped up is watching some pre-game speeches like the one Coach Freeze gave last season prior to the Egg Bowl (rivalry game with Mississippi State for you non-Ole Miss fans).
There is just something about the raw emotion coming from the coach and the passion and intensity from the players. It's not prepackaged hype for the cameras, but reality.
