College football has become almost as big a business as the NFL. There is a lot of money to be made off the hard work of a bunch of kids (as we have heard lately from many responding to the Johnny Manziel autograph scandal). One season can get a coach a big enough raise that if he never coached again his family would be okay financially.
So when we see someone having fun and treating the game like it should be treated it is nice to see because no matter how much money is in play the game is still a game.
