Could Kentucky Football Upset the Florida Gators?

There are a lot of people that are excited about football--yes, football--in Lexington. Recruiting has been incredible; the facilities look awesome, and the head coach is one of the best young minds in the game. The general perception is that it will just take a little time to get it together.

Any chance it could happen Saturday against Florida?

For UK  fans if you don't believe it  can happen than it never will, but is it like believing in the Easter Bunny or might it actually happen?

Florida has been in a little disarray this season. They didn't really  blow out Toledo (and they should have). The Miami game was not as close as the score made it seem. Tennessee hurt itself quite a bit in their game.

Tack on the loss of their starting quarterback--which may or may not be a good thing with the way Tyler Murphy looked--and the loss of defensive tackle Dominique Easley and the stage could be set. Florida has already had trouble moving the ball. Murphy looks like an incredible talent, but he has only had a week of practice  as QB1.

The defense has been the key for the Gators; especially the run--which of  course is strength of the Kentucky game. So the key could be the Gator Defense shutting down the Wildcats runners without Easley to help.

In the end it could very well come down to ball control. So far this season the Gators have given up nine turnovers--but the Wildcats have only forced three.

Will the Wildcat win? I don't know, but I do expect this to be one heck of a game.
