Georgia's Aaron Murray Becomes Second SEC QB to Clear the Century Mark

Prior to Saturday's contest against North Texas there was only one quarterback in SEC history that had cleared the Century Mark--100 career touchdowns--during his career (1996 Heisman trophy winner Danny Wuerfell).

After Sunday that exclusive club now has a second member--Georgia Bulldogs QB Aaron Murray.

Murray tied the mark with his first touchdown of the day, a 98-yard catch and run to Reggie Davis towarxs the start of the second quarter to put his team up 14-0.

By time the day was done Murray threw a couple more to bring his total to 102 for his career; the last being a beauty of a four yard catch by Chris Conley. It would not be shocking to see him break Wuerfell's mark as early as the Missouri game (in three weeks).

In case you were still unsure if Aaron Murray was talented or not--he is already the only SEC quarterback to throw for 3000+ yards in three consecutive seasons. With 408 against North Texas to bring his season total up to 1040 he is well on his way to making it four seasons.

So yeah. I think it is safe to say this kid is pretty good (Heisman?).
