Well, Texas fans are not having it. They want Nicky Satan to come to Austin and they have the t-shirt to prove it.

You would think that hearing it straight from the horse's mouth would have been enough:
“Every year it’s something. Last year it was the Cleveland Browns,” Saban said. “The year before that it was somebody else, the NFL. Terry and I are very happy here in Tuscaloosa. We’re really love the University of Alabama. We really feel like a part of the community here and we have a lot of good friends here.”
“And, quite frankly. I’m just too damn old to start over somewhere else.”Longhorns fans are likely thinking, "But we're Texas! How can you not want to coach us?"
They do have a pretty decent argument. They have the money coming in, the network, recruiting classes among the best every year--in spite of the lackluster seasons of late. Rumor has it that the school was even thinking of money-whipping him into coming with a $10 million offer.
A pretty good bump from his current salary. So why would he not want to come to Texas?
Maybe because when you are winning national championships with regularity right where you are there is no reason to leave. Yes, the money may be better, but when you consider that he would have to do a whole lot wrong over a lengthy period of time to get fired in Alabama the security at $5 million+ trumps the salary bump and the work it would take to rebuild.
Not to mention the insecurity if it takes too long to rebuild.
