North Carolina's Eric Ebron Might Be Someone NFL Scouts Want to Keep an Eye On

At 1-4 the North Carolina Tar Heels were not expected to be much competition against the No. 10 team in the nation, but they pressed Miami to their limits only to see the game slip away late. However, along the way there was one player that set a new school record--along with giving NFL scouting departments something to look at.

The 6'4" 235 pound tight end nearly matched his production from the last three games (241 yards, 16 receptions) with nine catches for 205 yards against the Hurricanes Thursday night including a 71-yard touchdown pass that put the Tar Heels up early in the game.

The catch in he GIF was his 7th catch of the night and gave him 167 yards, a new single-game record for UNC. Unfortunately, Miami was able to score two unanswered touchdowns in the fourth quarter--the last coming with 16 ticks left--to steal the win.
