But he wasn't even one of the best. Now had he stayed in he game and completed another pass or two he would have cracked 400 yards, and become the fifth QB to do so this season against Dallas.
Drew Brees is 8 yards away from becoming 5th QB to pass for 400 yards vs. Cowboys this season. Will Sean Payton have mercy on Monte Kiffin?

The four that have: Eli Manning (457 yards), Phillip Rivers (401), Peyton Manning (414), and Mathew Stafford (488).
Brees torching them does not make them a bad Defense. Neither do the others. Of the four QBs listed, all of them are weekly starts regardless of the opponent. You can argue that Eli is having a bad year, but over the past few years he's been consistently among the top ten fantasy QBs.
ReplyDeleteDude--they are giving up yards at a record setting pace. The Saints set a team record last night and a new NFL one for first downs in a game. I got nothing but love for the 'Boys but this defense sucks.
