Football is a game of intensity and passion; not just from the players, but among the coaches and even the fans. Without the game isn't fun to play or watch and it seems more like working 9-5 at some dead end boring-as-hell job rather than hanging out with kids playing a game.
For the coaches and players it is kind of hard to be any good if you don't have passion for the game. That means you celebrate with the highs and the lows--well, they hit you hard.
So when Auburn pulled off the upset--after it looked like the Bulldogs were going to--you can understand why the coaching staff for Georgia fell out like they did.
