Jim Irsay and His Wife Getting Divorce After Decade Long Seperation

A story that has apparently been a long time coming finally has--Jim Irsay and his wife of 33 years are getting a divorce. It's never a goo thing to hear about a marriage ending, but these two have gone above and beyond when it comes to trying to work it out.

They've been separated for a decade.

Earlier this week the news broke:

"After 33 years, we have mutually agreed to end our marriage," the Irsays said a press release. "Meg will continue to pursue her professional interests and her commitment to our children and grandchildren, while Jim will maintain 100% ownership of the Indianapolis Colts and his other business interests.

"Although the decision to end our marriage is a difficult one, it is the right decision for us and our family. We appreciate your respect for, and understanding of, our privacy."

So rest assured Colts fans. The team should not be affected in the least.

I do have to wonder about one thing--is he going to start dating young hotties like another NFL owner we know? Because that could make for some really interesting late night tweets!
