Matt Flynn Signing With Green Bay Packers Once Again

If there was one thing that the Green Bay Packers could not afford to have happen it was Aaron Rodgers getting injured. Now The nightmare has continued for the Packers with back-up quarterback Seneca Wallace getting hurt leaving Scott Tolzien--a career scout team and third-string QB--as the only quarterback the team has.

So of course on Monday they moved quickly to fix that issue and  signed Matt Flynn.

It is the smartest move the team could make at this point. Had they signed anyone else they would have been starting at ground zero with him. Flynn at least spent the first few years of his career in Green Bay before departing for Seattle last season.

Things didn't work out there and he was shipped off to Oakland where he was cut prior to the start of the season. He had a short stay on Buffalo's roster, but that didn't last long.

Word is so far that Scott Tolzien is going to get the start. He did not play bad Sunday against the Eagles (24-39, 280 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT), but if he struggles it would not be shocking to see him get pulled.
